Dr. Hatanaka and Prof. Kawai Give Presentations at the 32nd Conference of the Japan Association of Sandplay Therapy at Niigata Seiryo University
Dr. Chihiro Hatanaka and Prof. Toshio Kawai gave presentations at the 32nd conference of the Japan Association of Sandplay Therapy at Niigata Seiryo University on October 20th and 21st, 2018.
In their presentation, “Changes in kokoro and its ripple effects in psychotherapy: A meta-analysis of psychotherapy clinical cases”, they discussed the results of 100 cases reporting movement and resistance when “kokoro changes” in therapy.
There has been little quantitative psychotherapeutic research due to concerns about the protection of personal information. However, this research aims to provide more information about the essence of clinical work using assessment at a more abstract level. The research outcome will be reported to the public in a future research paper.
