The title is “The Post-AI Era: From ‘Information’ to ‘life.’” Based on research simulations of the future of Japanese society and policy recommendations regarding the use of AI, the article argues that AI is nothing more than a complementary tool for humans. He also states that, looking at the major trends in basic scientific since the Scientific Revolution in the 17th century, we are already entering an era that can be described as “post-computerization” or “post-AI”. Therefore, he suggests that it is necessary to envision a society based on the basic concepts of “life” (including both its meaning of “living” and of ecosystems).
