A paper by Assistant Professor Hiroyuki Muto, entitled “Evidence for mixed processes in normal/mirror discrimination of rotated letters: A Bayesian model comparison between single- and mixed-distribution models,” has been released early in the online version of Japanese Psychological Research. You can read the full text of this paper at the URL below.

This paper uses mathematical and statistical modeling to demonstrate the flexibility of two cognitive processes when discriminating rotated letters. It is scheduled to be published in the first issue of volume 64 of Japanese Psychological Research (January 2022), an English academic journal published by the Japanese Psychological Association.
