Prof. Kawai (KRC Director) Gave a Lecture, “An ‘Introduction to the Study of Kokoro for Elderly People’: Living well in the Super Aging Society” at the Benesse Community Seminar

On May 12th, 2019, the KRC Director Toshio Kawai gave a lecture at the Benesse Community Seminar. The lecture was entitled, “An ‘Introduction to the Study of Kokoro for Elderly People’: Living well in the Super Aging Society”.

The seminar shed light on “kokoro”, which is in the background of dementia and reclusive behavior in today’s modern aging society. He discussed how elderly people and their families can live fulfilling lives in the future in terms of their “bodies”, “interpersonal bonds” and “lives”.
