Prof. Kawai Receives the Japan Association of Sandplay Therapy Prize at Its 32nd Conference

Prof. Toshio Kawai received the Japan Association of Sandplay Therapy Prize at Niigata Seiryo University on October 20th and 21st, 2018.

The Japan Association of Sandplay Therapy Prize is an award that honors those who significantly contribute to the association’s work. As the Executive Director and the Managing Director, Prof. Kawai has contributed to the growth of the association and has also been the journal editorial chairperson since 2008.
Through his books, translations, papers and oral presentations, Prof. Kawai’s has helped to spread and deepen the field of psychotherapy using images. He has been nominated as the President-elect of the International Association for Analytical Psychology. The contribution of Prof. Kawai’s work includes raising the standards of psychotherapy and communicating Jungian psychology in Japan to the world.
