Many studies have indicated that the ability to imagine how something looks from a different perspective (spatial thinking ability) is an important cognitive ability that supports various cognitive activities in daily life, such as the use of tools, navigation, and interpersonal communication. This study aims to clarify the cognitive mechanisms that support spatial thinking using experimental psychology and statistical modeling.
