Expressing aggression or asserting oneself has become more difficult in contemporary society. Symptoms and adjustment disorders caused by suppressing aggression have been on the rise. However, to live an enriched life, it is necessary to sublimate the negative energy that rises within us. Speaking up for oneself, making requests, and venting in appropriate ways contribute to the maintenance of relationships without being overly aggressive towards others and the environment.
