The five-year goal of this project is to promote social implementation of problem-solving methods through the following process for issues related to medical health and welfare in Japan, using action research (practice and research): (1) explore the background of the issues, (2) investigate the needs for solutions, (3) approach the issue through a process of trial intervention, (4) present the effects of the intervention that will lead to policy recommendations.
The purpose of this project is to develop care methods for people with dementia and their families, whose prevalence is increasing in a super-aged society, and to reduce stigma of dementia. In the academic year 2021, based on the results of the fourth year of the project, we will examine the effects of non-pharmacological interventions
