Since the 2000s, functional brain imaging techniques have been used to investigate the neural mechanisms that give rise to the aesthetic perception of artworks. This research aims to bridge the gap between the basic hypotheses already obtained from these findings and the various aesthetic senses latent in artworks in the real world. By doing so, this project will allow us to propose new perspectives based on scientific knowledge for various issues that have been discussed in the field of aesthetics.
