‘The SNS Counseling Training Book,’ which Program-Specific Associate Professor Chihiro Hatanaka and Program-Specific Assistant Professor Yuka Suzuki were involved in editing and writing, has been published by Seishin-shobo.

This book is the sequel to ‘The SNS Counseling Handbook’ (http://kokoro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/snscounselingbook_hatanaka_en/) and ‘The SNS Counseling Case Book: Learning How to Support Through Clinical Cases’ (http://kokoro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/20200904_hatanaka_en/). The reader can experientially learn about SNS Counseling through examples of actual clinical cases and response technique exercises.

SNS Counseling, a form of psychological support that does not require face-to-face contact and can be accessed from anywhere, is continuing to grow due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Connections through SNS will make us think about the nature of psychotherapy from a new angle.
