An article by Program-Specific Associate Professor Chihiro Hatanaka was published in the April 2022 issue of “Gunma Jichi” (Gunma Local Government).

This article, entitled “Kokoro in the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Psychological Crisis Opens Up the Possibility of Change,” was written based on an analysis of psychotherapy and SNS counseling during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic still limits our lives, and physical, economic, and social risks remain high. On the other hand, such crises can open up possibilities for change. In the article, Prof. Hatanaka discusses these possibilities based on actual research studies.

The SNS Counseling and Community Support Project, in which Prof. Hatanaka is involved, continues to be underway and is currently recruiting companies to participate in SNS counseling for companies (in Japanese).
