Anthropologist, Director

Shinichi Nakazawa conceived and developed the research field of “Archeology of Mind” after studying Buddhism in Tibet, which encompasses the entire realm of human thought. He was a professor at Chuo University and served as Director of the Institute for Art Anthropology at Tama Art University and Director of the Institut pour la Science Sauvage at Meiji University before becoming Director of the Institute for Revitalization of Japan at Chiba Institute of Technology.
