Igor de Almeida | Program-Specific | Cultural psychology

My research examines how culture influences people in various psychological aspects such as emotions, thought and behavior. I am interested in expanding the scope of psychology to various cultures and subcultures. For this I carry out research using diverse methods, varying from experiments in the lab, questionnaire surveys to analysis of cultural products (e.g., books, music, newspaper), as well as big data and computational methods (e.g., NLP, machine learning).
