Prof. Kawai’s Interview with Shuntaro Tanikawa and the Congress Notes for the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) were Published in The Japanese Journal of Jungian Psychology Vol. 11, “Jungian Psychology and Children”

Prof. Toshio Kawai’s interview with Shuntaro Tanikawa and the Congress report for The International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) was published in The Japanese Journal of Jungian Psychology, Vol. 11 “Jungian Psychology and Children” (4/17/2019 Sogensha Publisher).

Prof. Kawai’s interview with Shuntaro Tanikawa was part of the 90th anniversary memorial event celebrating Hayao Kawai at JAJP’s 7th Pre-congress (6/23/2018). During the interview, Tanigawa read from his picture books and poems and also discussed the “constellation” that he leaned on throughout his friendship with Hayao Kawai. The question and answer session with the audience was also included in the interview publication.

The IAAP Congress notes summarized the report from the 2018’s IAAP congress and Prof. Kawai’s presentation. In the notes, Prof. Kawai, who is president-elect, expressed his hopes that the association’s exposure to opportunities such as joint conference with open universities, joint academic conferences with IAAP and IAJS and academic pre-congresses will facilitate growth of Jungian psychology.
