This project will measure the volume and fiber connectivity of the brain, as well as the functional binding between brain regions, and use these as indices of brain health. The project will investigate the relationship between these biological indices and factors of the work satisfaction, such as workers’ sense of fulfillment, sense of accomplishment, stress and leisure. Thus the effects of the work environment on both subjective and objective health, as well as workers’ sense of well-being, will be disentangled using psychological and neuroscientific methods.
