KRC Embarks on 2018 Open Collaborative Overseas Research Project
KRC has started 2018 open collaborative overseas research projects with Christina Brown (Assoc. Prof., Arcadia University) and Andrew Ryder (Assoc. Prof., Concordia University).
The title of Prof. Brown’s research is “Emotions and motivation following feedback about natural talent or hard work”. Her work with Dr. Yukiko Uchida and Dr. Yoshiyuki Ueda has just started and she visited KRC from 5/14/18 to 5/23/18.
A research project entitled “Depression and hikikomori in Japan: A mixed-methods study of cultural representations” by Assoc. Prof. Andrew Ryder (Condordia University) was also chosen for KRC’s open collaborative research project. Dr. Yukiko Uchida and Dr. Chihiro Hatanaka began their work with him during his stay from 7/24/18 to 8/3/18.
Both professors gave presentations regarding their research during their visits.
