熊谷　誠慈 ｜ Seiji Kumagai ｜ 准教授 ｜ 上廣倫理財団寄付研究部門 ｜ 仏教学・チベット学・ブータン学

1980年広島生まれ。京都大学大学院博士課程修了、文学博士。京都大学白眉センター助教、京都女子大学発達教育学部専任講師を経て、2013年４月より京都大学こころの未来研究センター上廣こころ学研究部門特定准教授。2017年4月より同研究部門長。2018年9月よりウィーン大学ヌマタ教授を兼任（～同12月）。2020年4月より京都大学こころの未来研究センター准教授。2022年4月より京都大学人と社会の未来研究院准教授。専門は仏教学（インド・チベット・ブータン）およびボン教研究。著書にThe Two Truths in Bon (Kathmandu: Vajra Publications, 2011)、Revisiting Tibetan Religion and Philosophy（共編著, Paris: Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, 2011）、Bhutanese Buddhism and Its Culture (編著, Kathmandu: Vajra Publications, 2014)、Buddhism, Culture and Society in Bhutan (編著, Kathmandu: Vajra Publications, 2018)など。
